Negative thinking becomes a habit.
These days we understand that neural pathways strengthen, the more they are used. The more we think of the worst case scenario for any situation, the more readily this becomes the default pathway. Do you have any habitual negative thought patterns?
It needs more than positive thinking!
Positive affirmations such as “I can do it!” Do not work unless you really believe it. This requires energy behind the thought, involving the whole being. Consider this: you are given a challenge that is way out of your comfort zone. You can feel the butterflies in the stomach, the dry mouth and other symptoms of anxiety, and you whisper to yourself “I can do this” . It won’t convince you! How can you turn this around, so that every cell in your body, believes that you will succeed in the task?
Raising your vibration
As your energetic frequency rises, your thoughts naturally become more positive and filled with sunshine. Devise a daily strategy that will cultivate empowering and loving thoughts.

As you become more aware of the egoic, destructive thought-programming that is driving you, it might seem that it is getting worse. This is not the case. You are merely more conscious, more aware of it. Awareness brings the opportunity to release the programming and set you free.
Stay in the present moment
Much of the negativity feeds off “what if?” scenarios. We ruin a perfectly good day by worrying about something in the future that may never happen. Can you train your mind to enjoy the moment? It is all we have! Try it now.
Gratitude is a powerful antidote
Make a resolve to list everything you are grateful for- and do this every day, preferably every morning and evening. Bring to mind, everything in your life that you ate grateful for, and notice how this makes you feel.
