Some students can generate Chi Flow, but if their mind is too scattered, they will not be able to hold the Chi in their system consistently, and so they will not be able to create ‘Chi Presence’. Your mind has to be quiet and focussed to hold the Chi in your body and thus create ‘Chi Presence’ which in turn creates a natural inner power. A chattering, wandering mind always dissipates the Chi, because energy always follows the mind. For example, if your mind is focussed on looking out of the window while you practise ITC, your Chi will follow! So once you can generate ‘Chi Flow’, you then need to concentrate on mindfully holding the Chi, until you can attain ‘Chi Presence’.
