The power of our intention is vast. If you dwell on fear and hatred, you will attract more darkness into your energy field. If you focus on love and light, your whole being is illuminated.
Can you learn the art to master your mind? Over a 30-minute period, try to note all your thinking, your thought process. Do you see that they have a life of their own- thoughts can run away with you! This is often called the “monkey mind”. The mind is a good servant, and a poor master.
In order to transcend human suffering, we have to seek happiness and commit to live in love and joy, come what may.
What can you implement in your daily life to manifest this intention?
A fundamental truth is that we create our reality within our own minds. When we start to believe and use the awesome power of our mind, we can really make our dreams come true.
This is a pivotal truth of abundant living. Please take a moment to contemplate this statement and absorb its essence. Do not analyse it though.
Decide to live every day in love rather than fear.
Again, a very powerful intention. Reflect on a decision you made when you were feeling fearful. Now think about a choice you made when you were joyful, or in love. Compare the outcome of each, and if the right decision was taken in each case.
Every morning, set the intention to live your life out of love, not fear.
How we lead our lives, and what we experience as “happening to us” is primarily down to the conscious choices that we make within our own minds.
Please bring to mind a circumstance in your life that you found challenging- perhaps an illness, an accident or a relationship break-down. Now reflect on how your attitude towards it at the time could have affected the whole experience and outcome.
Our goal is to lead radiant, miraculous lives that will benefit everyone we meet.
In what way does your being happy help the lives of your friends and family?
Always ask “What is it For?”
To master the art of abundant living, before pursuing any goal or dream, examine the motive. Is it to benefit others, or for personal gain? Does it serve a higher purpose?
If your motivation for wanting anything, or doing anything, comes from love, everything will turn out fine. If your desires come from fear or greed, nothing will truly work or give you lasting satisfaction.
Think of some examples in the last few weeks were your motivation has ben driven either by fear or love. Are there any patterns you can discern? This could be money- based, or health-based, or relationship-based. Most of us are fearful in at least one of these aspects of our life.
Don’t give to others out of guilt. Whenever we serve others with any kind of resentment in our heart, we actually poison them and ourselves, but whenever our intention for doing anything comes from unconditional love, everyone has to benefit.
When we give through ulterior motives, the accompanying energy will cast a shadow on both giver and receiver. Have you ever given a gift because you wanted to be liked, forgiven or promoted at work? Part of the path is becoming our authentic self, which requires insightful wisdom and skilful means.
Everything in this world responds to energy; and positive thinking raises your energy, whereas all negative thinking depletes it.
Think about a situation in your life; now, put the worst possible outcome you can think of onto it. Really immerse yourself in this scenario and be aware of how it is making you feel, physically emotionally and mentally. Stay with this for a while to fully experience the effect that the negative thoughts are having on you. Then, take a few deep breaths and walk around a bit before coming back to the same situation. This time, attach the best possible outcome to it. Again, fully immerse yourself in this scenario, experience it deeply. Does it affect you differently?
Whether we experience life as kind or cruel has far more to do with our habitual thoughts than with what is actually happening to us.
In any given moment, you can be in heaven or hell. It is your choice. Look back on your day, and think of examples of this. For example, in a situation where your car wouldn’t start…
Your thoughts create the world you see around you.
How is this different to the previous statement?
Illuminate your positive thinking with radiant energy so that it has a real power behind it.
Telling yourself “I can do it!” when deep down you feel a failure, or unworthy, unfortunately doesn’t work! This is because your core being is not convinced. Invest energy and focus into all your intentions. How might you achieve this?
