Moving in an Ocean of Radiant Chi
Refining your Infinite Tai Chi Practice
When you move, imagine that you are moving in an ocean of radiant chi. Relax, focus gently on your breath, and then make every move ‘as smooth as silk’. Connect to 30 threads of light and see, or feel, a light going through your crown centre and then down through your toes to connect you to planet earth. Open your energy channels and then feed the light into every cell of your body. Now you are connected to a miraculous infinite light force that will eventually illuminate your whole being.
Whenever you move in Infinite Tai Chi, do not allow your mind to wander off. Move, breathe, calm your mind, and then notice whenever it wanders off so that you can gently pull it back to being aware of your breath and your movements. Your mind is always wandering off into the past or the future. It is always creating fearful thoughts, or unrealistic fantasies about the future, rather than dwelling peacefully and joyfully in ‘the power of now’. Your life can only be lived in this moment now, so when your mind wanders off, you become like an empty shell, or even a zombie! So it is imperative that you become the master of your own mind.
If you truly want to become empowered, you have to keep bringing your mind back to the present moment. Genuine empowerment has nothing to do with how intelligent you are. It comes from stilling your mind and then connecting to a field of high energy in the here and now that is filled with ultimate wisdom and truth.
If you can hold the chi at the dantien as you move, your moves will become smoother and your mind will become calmer. You also have to bring peace into your mind in order to perform Infinite Tai Chi peacefully and powerfully.
When you reach the level of inner peace, your mind should be naturally quiet.
