Take a few moments now to be still, breathe to the lower abdomen and let the mind settle. Soften your heart and invite it to open…ask yourself these questions again, from your heart.

We are at the end of the first week of this challenge, and you may find it useful to contemplate the weeks’ postings, read your journal and stay in that space for a while, to assimilate your experience.
Keep your intention strong over the next week.
You are seeking a way to live in love and peace. You are already walking the path.

In the morning:
Be still, breathe, observe your mind becoming quiet, and vast like the ocean. Now, connect to your heart, feeling its warmth and love. Stay there a while. Still holding your heart centre gently bring the mind also into your conscious awareness. Let the heart and mind merge, and stay with that sensation, own it. Invite the heart to infuse the mind with its lovingness.
Hold this divine union as you lovingly go about your day.

Be still, breathe to the lower abdomen and observe the quietening of the mind. Let your consciousness float in this spaciousness for a while. Now, focus gently on your heart and feel the process of its opening. Feel the loving warmth of your heart radiate out in waves through your body, relaxing it and releasing its tension. Immerse your being in this blissful state and bring your intention to mind: I will live lovingly today. Then, slowly come back to the world.
When you focused on your heart then, did you have to think about how to do it? I expect it came naturally to you. This is a Yin way of focus and ideally suited to the heart. It is soft, diffuse, internalised, receiving, passive.
Just to let you know, there is the Yang mode of focus which can be helpful in some circumstances – but again, you would know intuitively when. This is one-point focus: strong, externalised, expanded. I recommend that you do try this when it feels right.

Be still, breathe, tune in to your heart and feel the aliveness of Life. Bring it into every cell of your being. With single-pointed focus, connect with Universal Life Force and experience its empowering effects. Remember to hold the Love as well, though. Come back. Do you have clarity and purpose now? Remember your loving intention for the day.
To cultivate the Love Presence very powerfully, dedicate all your actions, without self-investment, to God. This is karma yoga.
Hold Devotion – to Truth and to Love. This is a journey, a lifestyle. With Devotion, if you really do it well, every breath becomes a prayer. Your whole life becomes a prayer.
Devotion, prayer, karma yoga. That is the heavenly path. You become the prayer itself. So, God can not not merge with you.
Everything is from Love to Love.

Please sit quietly, Breathe, tune in to your heart, probingly. What can you see there? Notice any feelings your heart is holding after your night’s sleep. Find any resentment from a past grievance, or any anxiety about something you have to do today. That subtle tension in your heart. Now, relax, relax your heart until it opens like a flower and waves of relaxation flow through your body, melting the fear away. The Love energy comes through and fills the space….savour this for a while. Breathe it in, and remember your intention: “today I will live life lovingly”. And slowly come back.
There is only one pleasure to seek: inner joy. The more you connect to Love and Truth,the greater the inner joy. Joy and joining are one. There is an eternal feature to it.
It is wise to know your own capacity to hold the Love Presence. If someone’s negativity is blocking your ability to hold it, make your excuses and walk away. Rather that than risk getting irritated and losing the Love: that benefits no-one.

Be still, breathe, align with your heart. Notice Love Presence returning to you after the night’s sleep. Already, your busy, fractured thought processes are shifting into a calm knowingness. You see today with clarity and purpose. Stay anchored at your heart, the core of your being, and become aware of the world outside. It is still dark, the wind is blowing, the ground is carpeted with leaves. Earth is changing: Autumn is here. Tune in deeply to planet Earth, how is she feeling? You can sense her. Now, extend the Love that you are holding to her and know that she is receiving it. Join in Love with her. As you give, so you receive. And slowly come back.
There is no instruction on how to be loving. In Truth, the soul is loving. Just remove the obstacles and the lovingness of your soul is revealed.
Be humble, open. Love intelligence knows what you need more than you do yourself. Step aside, to receive. That is trust.

Whether you are at work or home, with family, friends or alone, be joyful today. Joy comes from our connection to Love, Truth, God. So it is not dependant on external factors such as people and relationships, or experiences and excitement. When you have consistency in holding the Love Presence, there is a constant source of Joy to nourish your being.
We hold the Love Presence internally. We cultivate it with our daily practice, until it can extend outward. This is how we share Love. It radiates from us to others – if there is an invitation, an opening. For Love recognises Love. Thus you respond to someone asking for joining.
Breathe, clear the mind. Align with your heart, feel it soften and open. Notice the warmth and love flowing through the body as it relaxes. Now, focus your attention to me and extend the Love Presence you are holding to me. As I extend it to you. With clear intent, extend the Love to all of us here. As we give, also we receive. Stay here a while, let it become tangible. And slowly come back, with appreciation.
Today, hold and extend the Joy to others. Be a beacon of Joy to all you meet.

Be aware of the stillness around you. Breathe and go within. Feel the stillness within you. The stillness within and without appear to merge. Let your conscious awareness rest in your open, loving heart. For a moment, then, this is all there is. For the Universe is inside of you.

Tune in to the day. It is a day of Infinite possibility. Let your own courageous heart guide you through. When you hold Love Presence, miracles happen naturally as an expression of Love.

To live life lovingly is a supreme path, and also very practical. You don’t have any responsibility to anybody outside of you. Your responsibility is but to hold Love Presence. It will direct you all the way. You only have one person to deal with. It is yourself. So reprogram the mind, look after your body. Join in Love. Is this selfish? No. The most generous person you can be is when you connect to Love Presence

Breathe, tune in to your heart. As it starts to open, feel its essence, know it. Invite this wisdom to infuse every cell in your body. Have an awareness of the gentleness and warmth of your loving heart. You are becoming Love itself.

Today, surrender your personal will to your heart. Your personal will is based on development, spiritual will is based on unfoldment.

Good morning
Please be still. Breathe, clear your mind and align with your heart. Be aware of the inner spaciousness, the clarity, the purposefulness, the strength and the gentleness you hold. This is Love Presence. Savour it, and remember it.
The Love Presence is already shaping your thoughts, words and deeds. You are walking a beautiful path and now you have the capacity to walk the path alone. But we go on together for a few more days.
Today, only speak kind words. If you can not improve the situation, best to stay silent. Do your words bring harmony peace and empowerment?

Be still, breathe, tune in to your courageous heart. Hold the Love Presence and turn your gentle focus to yourself: your body, your mind, your aspiration, your life. Let Love envelop all this. Bring your intention to live life lovingly to mind, to walk the path of peace and love. And see yourself: a transformed, loving, empowered being.
Do not compartmentalise your life. Wholeness has no divisions.
Embody your experience. Be your truth with consistency.

Morning
Notice the stillness around you, listen to it. Breathe, let your mind become part of it. Gently tune in to your heart, and feel it open into this stillness. This is you, the vast loving stillness. But it is not empty, it is dynamic, alive, vibrant, powerful. Love. From this place, set your intentions, and let your heart speak of its yearning. From this place, miracles will happen. And slowly come back.
Change yourself, and the world changes. You can not change the others, but you can change yourself. With practice, the Love Presence you cultivate becomes powerful, shaping you and directing your action as a beacon of light and love. Enriching the lives of others, raising the vibrational frequency in the world. You join in Love.
How to respond to others? Just hold the Love.
Every relationship from Love to Love is a Holy Relationship.

Be still, focus on your mind, allow it to settle. Now, align with your heart, feel it, be familiar with it, listen to it. Notice the waves of energy flow through your body and mind; expanding consciousness, extending love, giving vibrancy to your body. This is how to live life.

Isn’t it naïve or self-denial for individuals to focus on opening their hearts and living lovingly when there is so much hatred and violent conflict in our world?
The world we live in is certainly not a very loving place. Most human beings are living their whole lives in fear and their overriding concern is their own survival and safety and the safety of their families.
But if we are blessed enough to live in a relatively prosperous and peaceful corner of the world, are we going to add yet more fear to all the collective fear that is swirling around us, or are we going to balance all of that fear with a conscious, committed attempt to be more loving and compassionate?
We have to be the change that we long for in our world and one miraculous way to start the ball rolling is to commit to just 21 days of living lovingly.
As I have been focussing on living lovingly, I have noticed that most of the people I meet seem to spend most of their time complaining, or negatively judging others. How should I respond to this?
As we open our hearts, raise our consciousness and commit to living life lovingly, we will certainly notice that our world is not yet a love-filled planet and that most human beings seem to be almost permanently angry or anxious. What to do? Well first of all, it can be very helpful to understand that feeling a bit distant from old friends and loved ones is perfectly normal as we awake from the nightmare of living in fear into a much happier dream of living in love.
Most human beings sadly live their whole lives in fear and conflict and even assume that this is perfectly normal. Well it may be normal to live life in a state of almost perpetual anxiety, but it is certainly not the life that the children of God are meant to live. We are definitely created to live eternally in love, even though it may take us a very long time indeed to realise this ultimate truth about ourselves and our creation.
As we open our hearts more and more to love, it may be helpful to spend some time each day alone so that we can get away from the collective soup of fear and hatred. Spending time alone in a beautiful natural environment is a wonderful way to re-charge our batteries and the beauty of nature will stimulate our hearts to open up even further.
As I focus on living lovingly, I am beginning to see my past differently and my perception of the world seems to be changing. I am finding this rather confusing and even disorientating. Am I doing something wrong?
Not at all! As we begin to change our minds from living in fear to living in love, our perception of the world can also change – sometimes quite dramatically. For example, if we have always felt that we are the victim of an abusive childhood, we may suddenly experience an ‘Ah ha!’ moment during which we realise that our painful childhood actually gave us the strength, or the determination, to seek for a better way to live. We may see that if we had had a ‘happier’ childhood, we might well have missed a golden opportunity to awake this lifetime, and so we can give thanks for our ‘painful’ past and move on with love in our hearts instead of anger or fear.

The Live Life Lovingly Facebook Challenge has just finished. It has been a transformational three weeks and I give my heart-felt appreciation to those who accepted the invitation to walk this path of love and peace together.
It is a heavenly path, and also very practical. We learn the art to align, and open our hearts, to tune in to Love energy. By setting the intention to mindfully connect in this way, we develop the capacity to hold the Love Presence. Over time, this presence infuses into our being, shaping the way we feel, think, act and speak. It becomes un-natural to judge or criticise others. It becomes a joy to give, to serve. We need do nothing! The Love Presence does it all for us.
It also means we love ourselves. Not in a narcissistic way, but with honour, respect and humility. So, for example, it is easier to say “No” to others who try to persuade us to do something which we feel uneasy about.
People feel good around those holding the Love Presence. They may not know why, but on some level, their being recognises Love.
A real sense of community developed over the period of this challenge. Many generously sent in poetry, prose, comment and beautiful photos that enriched the experience for everyone.
Although it has ended I feel that for many of us, we will continue to live lovingly; it becomes too painful not to. Can you imagine what the world would be like if everyone could live this way? Well, we can’t change the others, only ourselves. Here we have made a significant start.
