The 3rd Infinite Arts Festival took place at Millstreet Country Park, regaled by a brilliant blue Irish sky which complimented its sylvan setting. The Infinite Arts comprising Chi Kung, Tai Chi, Chi Yoga and Meditation were celebrated, demonstrated and extolled for the many benefits they offer in the art of daily living.
Master Jason Chan delighted the crowd with an outside performance of Infinite Tai Chi to a backdrop of lush nature; beauty dancing with grace. He also led two workshops on radiance and empowerment through meditation and movement, with typical charisma, inspiration, humour and energy.
Throughout the day, Stefan Andre Waligur sang, played and chanted his melodic and heart-opening music. We were honoured that Stefan had flown from the States to perform at the Festival. Find out more about Stefan and his work at www.songsofpeace.net
Irina Popova presented Infinite Chi Yoga: a unique fusion of yoga and energy work, and a session of gentle yoga with yoga nidra which is such a lovely way to relax yet retain a clear focus. I gave a talk on “The Art of Living Well”, a personal account of how our Infinite Arts are truly tools for daily living.
A relaxing Sound Bath session was given by Marta Toropow with participants invited to lie down and just absorb the healing frequencies, while Aedemer Kelly introduced mindfulness practices for children and parents.
The grand closing sequence featured Jason, Irina and Peggy Foster performing Infinite Tai Chi to the music and song of Stefan Waligur accompanied by Marta on gong. The audience watched, and sang and it was a real coming together for all concerned.
The Festival was truly wonderful and fostered a great atmosphere of warmth and happiness. Everyone had come together to create a day of peace and joy. We could not have wished for more.
Thanks go to Jonathan Jelfs, our event photographer, who chronicled the day for us, and to Infinite Arts teachers for their valuable contributions on the day. And we are grateful to the wonderful staff at Millstreet Country Park who did a great job. Most importantly we thank you, the people who came to the Festival, because this day was for you.
